30th April 2022 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F4/F5 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: 10.4 Weather: Sun then overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Lighter than it looked, though forecast to increase so gambled on 1550 foil been enough. Struggled a bit to start, then technique improved and breeze increased and OK. Eventually needed 5.3m which was good for an hour then wind decreased and I was tired anyway. Still no nearer gybing, getting annoying now, but still a good day. Tired at end so will try adding a harness line. 20th day wind/wing/kite, my best ever month. Foiling has helped with light wind days and also those gusty days where windsurfing is tiring. |
